Time to start moving a bit more with the Mouse and Monitor Stand™. Personal visits to both Michigan State University and The University of Michigan next week. Nothing like cold calling with a new product to a potential customer. There are a few buildings finding the right one is going to be the key. That’s step #1 , admitting I am powerless over finding the building, the right building. I have written to both schools but have a hunch it got lost in the mail. So I will Trudge the Road of Happy Destiny. Like finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe I should drive in with this 1959 Corvette that I recently painted.
But then where do I put the stand ? Talk about the stand. You know sitting while working in front of a monitor for hours every day results in serious health problems. Even contributes to an early death. So lets not concentrate on the negative side of things. Some very positive things are just around the corner for you. If you are looking for a stand, like those you see on TV but does not quite fit your vision of unique and discriminating tastes please look in my direction. If you know of and can trust The Mayo Clinic please read this :http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/adult-health/expert-answers/sitting/faq-20058005. They can tell a much better story than I can. From this article a few quotes: ‘Too much sitting also seems to increase the risk of death from cardiovascular disease and cancer.’, and’
- Stand while talking on the phone or eating lunch.
- If you work at a desk for long periods of time, try a standing desk — or improvise with a high table or counter.
- Walk laps with your colleagues rather than gathering in a conference room for meetings.
Anyway a few more enjoyable photos/paintings:
